About us

Everything you wanted to know about Science is WEIRD (but were afraid to ask)

We’re a weird company.

We teach science classes… but not in the usual way.

We also focus on a very specific skill — close reading — and use it as the secret to teaching all sorts of other things.

And we offer “Genius Workshops” for parents and kids to help to help cultivate Renaissance people.

Feel free to check out those. But to get the biggest-picture understanding of us, take a look at the pages below!

My 7th grader... had a tough 6th grade year, so we pulled him to homeschool with a desire to resurrect his love of learning.

Your course has done that, for which I am extremely grateful.
