Homeschooling in the Age of AI

$10.00

It feels like everyone’s talking about AI in homeschooling — but what if they’re asking the wrong questions?

At Science is WEIRD, we’re hopeful that AI could open a new kind of education for everyone... but we worry it could also scrape away the very purpose of learning.

This technology forces us to go back to a fundamental question: what is education really for?

Is memory still important?
Is “being creative” being transformed?
How can we cultivate what makes us human?

We’ll look at three possible directions AI could take society, and ask how we might prepare our kids for them now.

Sunday October 11 and Sunday October 18
3pm Eastern / 12pm Pacific
A cameras-off webinar
1 hour long (time for questions after)

You can choose either date, or both. We mean these to be the same presentation… but we wouldn’t be surprised if they’re different enough that you want to attend both. Links to both recordings will be sent to everyone who registers.
